In 2023 Vespa GTS launches scooter – four model variants, two engine choices, 125 cc and 300 cc
The new addition to the Italian scooter manufacturer’s range of scooters is the Vespa GTS 2023 range, which includes four models in fourteen color options and is made in Italy. These are the classic Vespa GTS, the contemporary GTS Super, the sportier GTS SuperSport and the Vespa GTS SuperTech equipped with the latest conveniences in two-wheel driving.
There are two engine variants available, the 125 i-GET and the 300 HPE making 23 hp. Both engines are single-cylinder, liquid-cooled and powered by an EFI injection system, and are said to be Euro 5 compliant as the previous generation GTS Super only met Euro 4 emissions standards, although there is no mention of this in Vespa’s press release.
As always, the body of the Vespa GTS is made of steel and matches the traditional iconic Vespa lines, while the rider can choose from 14 color schemes. New for 2023 is a single-wishbone front suspension, designed for greater stability at high speeds while improving comfort and handling.
The Vespa GTS is also designed for sightseeing and touring, featuring new seats that increase driver and passenger comfort and allow easy footing on the ground. Vespa GTS 2023 now has a keyless system and push-button start with the function of opening the seats and locking the steering wheel with the remote key.
For the GTS SuperTech with Vespa MIA Bluetooth connectivity (also standard equipment on the GTS SuperSport), a TFT-LCD screen is installed in the cockpit. Other variants come with new screen configurations while Bluetooth connectivity is an option. In Malaysia, the Vespa GTS SuperTech 300 Euro 4 retails for RM33,300 while the SuperSport 300 Euro 4 is tagged at RM28,900.
