Underwater TTL flash pack for Olympus Tough TG-series cameras
If you are looking for a compact and easy to use underwater strobe to match your Olympus TG-3, TG-4, TG-6 or TG-6 system, this is the pick for you. friend!
In this situation, the tortoise would be silhouetted if no lightning had hit its underside. When you shoot a fast-moving subject like a turtle, the distance to your subject changes continuously. TTL strobe exposure is essential because it’s not possible to change flash settings manually as quickly as a moving turtle. Here the RC1 works perfectly because the camera knows your strobe light is attached. Other slave TTL systems can get confused by the background being too bright and end up with the flash being too weak.
TTL receiver RC1
The TTL RC1 receiver uses the camera’s built-in RC (Remote Control) flash mode for the fastest and most accurate strobe exposure possible. The camera recognizes the attached strobe light and sends a unique signal for each photo to ensure that the strobe light emits the right amount of light at all times.
This is much more advanced than most underwater TTL systems that fire the camera’s built-in flash directly. Other systems require the camera’s built-in flash to work more slowly, draining the camera’s battery, and often over or overexposing your images.

Highly reflective objects tend to be very difficult on TTL systems or manual strobe systems. It’s easy to over-brighten subjects and lose details in their textures.
DS51 Strobe
The DS51 strobe light is loved for being one of the smallest and lightest strobe lights in its class. It uses 4 AA-size batteries and provides over 300 flashes per charge – often more when using TTL exposures. Add a second DS51 flicker for more even coverage when shooting wide-angle.
Compact ball arm
The compact ball arm uses hard anodized aluminum components that are hard to wear and hard to break. Mesh ball socket arm systems are easier to position than bend arms and are expandable for almost any application. The 7″ swingarm section includes a mounting rod for adding an adjustable spotlight or video light that stays on continuously using Sliding Ball Bracket #4081.72.
With very small subjects, you can easily capture them by capturing a compact flash.
Optical cable
Our multi-core fiber optic cables are designed for precise and reliable triggering.
