Ikelite has announced housing for Panasonic Lumix S5II and S5IIX. Notably, the 24MP full-frame camera uses phase-detection autofocus instead of the less reliable contrast-based autofocus used in the company’s previous Lumix models. The two models are externally similar, but differ in video specifications: The S5IIX can output RAW video, capture All-Intra and ProRes formats, and record to the included USB-C SSD.
New Ikelite “200DL” series case Full range of features: Dry Lock (DL) gate system, ergonomically designed levers for shutter and autofocus, large soft-touch zoom knob and hard anodized aluminum buttons . You can get TTL flash exposure with the Ikelite DS series wardrobe as you add options DL3 DS . Link TTL Converter; otherwise, you’ll get Ikelite, Sea&Sea, Inon, and Retra’s superior manual electric wardrobe activation.
The case comes with an M16 port, which you can use to attach an external monitor/recorder, but the port only supports HDMI 1.4, with maximum recording at 4K/30p. However, you can custom order a case with a large bore M24 port, HDMI 2.0 support, and take full advantage of the camera’s high-quality video output through the Atomos Ninja V/V+.

There’s nothing more secure than being able to see your camera and o-ring through the back of the case. Our signature open-groove design hangs the rear o-ring in a natural position, making it easier to maintain and more reliable than tying the o-ring to the groove. When the case is closed, you can see the o-ring forming a sturdy, waterproof gasket.
We recommend using a metered pump to vacuum the housing and check for leaks before putting it in the water.
Our specially formulated ABS-PC composite housing is highly durable yet significantly lighter than aluminum. Bright colors keep your camera cooler when shooting in warm sunny environments.
Ikelite lens ports are the lightest on the market, yet sturdy and capable of withstanding rough waves.
We support a wide range of lenses. Most popular zoom lenses and selective focus rings can be used using a simple gear wheel that puts adjustments at your fingertips. The zoom and focus gears vary depending on the type of lens you are using.
Lens port and zoom gear sold separately. Refer to the appropriate port chart for compatibility information.
Use the camera’s built-in Wi-Fi feature to download photos to another device without removing the camera from the case. The Wi-Fi feature is only available on water within close proximity of the connected device.
Unless otherwise noted, this case does not support the use of additional grips, battery grips, eyepieces, LCD caps, or other accessories.
Differences in lens and control positions prevent other camera models from being used or adapted to this case. We are not aware of any other models that could be used or adapted to this housing.
