Hyundai is almost full force electrification efforts, but it doesn’t forget the bread SUVs that have brought it this far. That’s why we’re seeing a brand new Santa Fe for 2024, model the first complete makeover since 2018, bringing a striking change to the look of Santa Fe.
The first and most impactful change with the update is the styling of the Santa Fe, which has been transformed into a muscular, boxy family car. Hyundai says it has used the shape of the Santa Fe to convey a sense of grandeur, giving it a high hood, sharp fenders and unique H-shaped headlights that follow the other H-shapes on the front. The SUV has 21-inch wheels and now looks like part of a serious off-road vehicle. The automaker also lengthened the Santa Fe’s wheelbase, and while we don’t have new measurements, the change should improve ride quality and interior space for the popular SUV.
Hyundai says it designed The new Santa Fe focuses on lifestyle. The interior has second and third rows of seats that fold flat and follow the same H-style as the SUV’s exterior. Hyundai equips a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster in a curved panoramic screen and says the Santa Fe’s cabin has contrasting upholstery. color and high quality transparent materials. Sustainable materials are the focal point of the interior design, with parts of the ceiling and seat backs made from recycled plastic. We don’t have specs or details on the specs and configuration of the new Santa Fe, but the images shared by Hyundai appear to show 2.5T badges and HTRAC lettering on the rear of the SUV. The automaker plans to share more details during the Santa Fe’s full launch next month on YouTube. Hyundai also recently introduced the Ioniq 5 N, so this can be considered a busy year for the Korean automaker.
