It’s always a good idea to try to do your work in-camera, both to keep your eyes sharp, while keeping the most resolution and file flexibility as possible, but there is no shame in cropping in the post, whether the aspect ratio should be different, getting closer to what you can directly or simply because you changed your mind about the layout.
