How to make pancakes for your dog! 2 easy recipes

Banana cake pup for dogs
Meal portion: 3 – 4 pancakes
Ingredient:
- 2 mashed bananas
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- A pinch of ground cinnamon
- Canola or coconut oil for frying
- Your dog’s favorite toppings: we used blueberries and peanut butter (make sure peanut butter does NOT contain xylitol) Toxic for dogs)
- Mixing bowl
- Non-stick pan
Method:
- Mix eggs and mashed banana together until combined
- Add the coconut flour and ground cinnamon and mix well.
- If your dough is a bit dry, just add a little water
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and add oil
- Once hot, add a spoonful of your mixture to the pan
- Cook for 2-3 minutes (or until golden brown) then flip
- When the cake is done, transfer to a plate and repeat with the rest of the mixture
- Add your toppings and let your dog eat!
The pancakes will stay in an airtight container in the fridge for a few days or in the freezer for up to a month – that’s if you don’t finish…
Carrot & Chickpea Pup Pancakes for dogs
Work for: 16 pancakes
Prepare: 10 minutes
Chef: 15 minutes
Ingredient:
- 1/2 cup cooked chickpeas (canned or drained chickpeas also works)
- 1/2 small carrot (about 1/4 cup), grated
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup self-fortifying flour
- 2/3 cup oat milk
- 2 tablespoons sunflower oil
Method:
- Place the chickpeas in a food processor and blend for a few seconds.
- Add all remaining ingredients except oil and mix until blended.
- Heat a little oil in a large non-stick pan.
- Ladle a generous spoonful of batter for each pancake into the pan, leaving a little space in between.
- Fry for 2-3 minutes on each side until lightly golden.
- Serve the plate up and let it cool a bit, and you’ll have your dog barking for breakfast.
- Store pancakes in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days or in the freezer, separated with greaseproof paper, for up to 3 months.
