How to film and edit Vlog quickly
Many people think vlogs will be a short trend, but it is safe to say that it is not an accurate prediction. Many content creators use vlogs as a way to engage their audience more and more often. However, shooting and editing vlogs can be very time consuming unless you know what you are doing.
Although I have shot and edited videos many times for various purposes, I have never written a vlog. I know vloggers and I have family members who do vlogs, but until you’ve tried it you won’t realize how complicated it can be. Then, when I was reviewing a gimbal for iPhone, one day I decided to create a vlog (albeit with less talk and more storytelling), and I quickly realized that if you don’t have one a strict workflow, it’s difficult.
If you’re a beginner, not only do you often have no idea what your final video will look like, but you won’t know every shot you need until editing. Then the editing side of the equation is also a minefield. Of course, many problems are caused by inexperience, but videos like Peter Lindgren’s above can save you a lot of time figuring things out if something goes wrong. Lindgren has been doing vlogs for years and it shows in the quality of the results.
