How to catch Zorua in this Pokemon Go Halloween
For Halloween 2022, Niantic added Zorua and Zoroark Pokemon Go. The standard version, mind you, and not the shiny version. The thing is, you won’t only see Zorua in the wild until 10 a.m. local time on November 1, 2022. Instead, the character acts like a Ditto. In keeping with its deceptive nature, it appears as whatever your current buddy is on the map.
This means the easiest way to catch Zorua in Pokemon Go is to choose a special friend. Since this is Halloween season, a lot of ghosts are present in the game during this time. So choosing a ghost will be very difficult to catch it out. What I did was make a Hisuian Qwilfish my best friend. It’s big. It’s special. It doesn’t happen naturally in the wild right now in the game.
However, Niantic found a bug in the game. People who use Bluetooth catchers and have Legendary Pokemon as their friend will find themselves catching more of those Pokemon without morphing. It took the official support Twitter account to confirm that they had identified the problem and that those characters would eventually transform into Zorua. Until the issue is fixed, people cannot use Darkrai, Dialga, Giratina, Groudon, Kyogre, Landorus, Palkia, Xerneas, and Yvetal in the battles of the Great Alliance.
Please note that any Zorua that impersonates your Best Friend without transforming after being captured will be reverted to Zorua in the future. Thanks for your understanding.

If you catch enough Zorua to collect its 50 candies, you can evolve it into a Zoroark in Pokemon Go.
Pokemon Go is available for Android and Apple iOS devices, and Zorua can be spotted in the game as part of the Halloween event until November 1, 2022.
