The National Treasure The series has secured a Hollywood treasure.
In an exclusive interview with E! News at the D23 exhibition, Catherine Zeta-Jones what to share National Treasure fans can expect from her upcoming role in the Disney+ spin-off series, titled National Treasure: The Frontier of History.
After calling the series “memorable, fun, iconic and legendary,” Catherine promised that the new series would be as well, adding, “It was fun. We took that concept. ; we actually put it on today.”
And, as the Chicago actress shared with E! News, there are a lot of changes to look forward to, including her character. “I didn’t play a character in those movies,” she explained. “So it’s just great fun for me. I just got a ball.”
Mention that the role is “right up my alley,” as she’s also a history buff because she’s “always looking for treasure. I’m always cheering.”
As for what we can expect from the series, it will be “from the point of view of a young heroine, Jess,” according to the official synopsis, “A brilliant and resourceful DREAMer searching for answers. about her family — who embark on the adventure of a lifetime to uncover the truth about the past and save a lost Pan-American treasure.”
