Brittney Griner says she’s ‘very proud’ to give Cherelle flowers
Cherelle Griner recently shared the exciting news on Instagram. Beneath a series of photos of herself, Brittney and others celebrating the occasion, Griner noted that her achievement “has not been easy.”
However, when he persisted in attending law school, Griner shared: “Now you can call me a Counselor” – EXPECT!
She also admitted her status as an HBCU law school graduate, as she completed her studies at North Carolina Central University (NCCU) School of Law last year.
Additionally, she updated her Instagram display name to “Cherelle T. Griner, Esq.”
Shortly after Cherelle’s first post, Brittney Griner praised his wife in a separate upload.
In Brittney’s message, she acknowledges all the “hard work, determination and passion” Cherelle has shown in her pursuit of law school.
“There are not enough words to describe how proud I am of him. To be able to see the hard work, determination and passion you have had throughout your journey to becoming a lawyer!”
Brittney Griner ended her message lovingly by announcing: “Congratulations to attorney Cherelle Griner.”

Back in early 2022, Brittney Griner was detained in Russia after being caught carrying several boxes of marijuana, and she remained in custody until December.
