The defeat in this game created a great position for the Vikings at Detroit 21. Minnesota was almost certain to take the lead. At least it should be able to kick a short target to take a one-point lead.
The Vikings took the lead with 1:50 remaining when Kirk Cousins found Justin Jefferson to open the scoring in the back of the field for the third and third goal.
Vikings rose 27-23, but Campbell pointed to a positive.
