If you like cars, you like MotorWeek. Stage. John Davis is a saint, and anyone who says otherwise will automatically be kicked out of the Car Club for Connoisseurs. Enjoy a life with terrible opinions and no friends, haters. You have no place among us, true car enthusiasts.
In case you lost it:
That said, like every other store, MotorWeek imperfect. Make mistakes sometimes and there’s nothing wrong with talking about them respectfully and calmly. In fact, it’s healthy for auto enthusiasts to criticize something that’s clearly not true. This time, it was also quite serious.
Yesterday, MotorWeek uploaded a review video of his 2005 Lamborghini Gallardo. Except someone mistakenly listed it as “Classic Review”. It’s crazy on the face of it, I know. Is John Davis trolling me? Is this a personal thing? Have I done anything to offend you, John? If you want to talk, I’m sure we can work this out.
There is simply no way that 2005 is far enough in the past for it to be considered a classic. I won’t bother counting how many years it’s been, but sure enough, it’s only been a couple.

Yes, I was still in high school in 2005, but I’m still young. I can still be cool if I want to. There’s no way I’m old enough for a car I was obsessed with in high school to become a classic review. Just no.
The video itself also contains some odd inconsistencies. I remember Gallardo being a supercar, but when MotorWeek tested its 0 to 60 mph time, it took 5.1 seconds. that’s considerable slower than a Kia EV6. In what world does a Lamborghini run slower than a Kia? Clearly something is wrong here, and I can only hope MotorWeek Find out who’s behind all this and fire them.
