Honda XL750 Transalp is finally back
After waiting and waiting, Honda Transalp returned to the lineup of Big Red. Officially named Honda XL750 Transalp 2023, the bike shares a 755cc parallel engine with a new engine Honda CB750 Hornet.
This means power comes in at 90hp (67.5 kW), with 56 lbs • ft (75 Nm) of torque. That should keep shoppers in the midsize ADV segment, and the 458 lbs (208 kg) wet weight means the Honda Transalp will compete well with even the newest machines in this category.
There’s a 21″ ring at the front, paired with an 18″ unit in the back. Suspension is handled by Showa, with 7.9 inches (200mm) of travel at the forks and 7.5 inches (190mm) at the rear. All suspensions are preload adjusted only.
In terms of electronics, Honda hasn’t been spared. As such, the Transalp comes with a 5-inch TFT screen, five driving modes (four preset modes and one user mode), which in turn have different settings for traction control, wheel control, and traction control. vehicle, throttle mapping, engine brake and ABS. The stroller can be added as a Honda aftermarket part.
With styling based on Honda CB125X concept, the name Transalp has a fresh feel, which is sure to help boost sales. The Honda Transalp 2023 will be available in three colors: Matte Iridium Gray Metallic, Mat Ballistic Black Metallic and Ross White Tricolor.
However, the big question that remains is how much will the Honda Transalp cost when it goes on sale and when can we expect it in the US?
