Honda Civic Type R Prototype arrives at Tokyo Auto Salon in January

The Tokyo Auto Shop taking place from January 14 to 16 will be the venue where Honda’s motobike pull the wrappers out of the new one Civic CHEAP Prototype. Yes, we mean the Prototype, not the final car. Unfortunately, we’ll need to wait until the end of 2022 to see the final product.

However, we suspect that Honda will have some preliminary details to share about the new Type R that will be revealed alongside the Prototype. The car we see on display in Tokyo will be wearing a special camouflage that Honda has designed specifically for the Type R. was envisioned in some formal and informal shoot spies. Even if that were the case, the ability to get up close and personal with the camo’d would still provide more insight into the design of the new Type R than we’ve been dealt with so far. .

In addition to the car itself being there, Honda says it will have a new “action” video to highlight Honda’s testing of the Type R to see what the engineers did with the vehicle. And that’s all Honda is saying right now.

If you want to see the earlier Type R teaser images, you can check it out The photos Honda has released here. Additionally, you can find additional photos at our latest unofficial spy photo post where we get a good, detailed look at many of the car’s design elements.
