HJC launches C10, i71 and i20 helmets for Malaysia – for budget and mid-range, prices start at RM519
Catering to affordable and mid-range riders in Malaysia are the HJC C10 full-face, i71 full-face and i20 convertible helmets. The price of the C10 starts at RM519 for solid color while the graphics version costs RM609.
Designed as a value for money full face helmet, the C10 comes with a double D-ring buckle exclusive to the Malaysian market. This allows the C10 to be used for track duty as it complies with the ECE 22.06 standard, just like the i71 and i20.
Meanwhile, the full-face i71 is priced at RM1,109 for a solid-colored plain helmet while the graphics will cost RM1,289. Rounding out the new HJC helmet range for Malaysia is the i20 convertible helmet or “mask” helmet, which retails at RM979 for the plain type and RM1,149 for the graphics.
All three helmet models feature speaker pockets for installing the helmet intercom and come with HJC’s ACS, or Advanced Channel Ventilation System. This allows more airflow to enter the helmet through the front vents, helping the rider stay cool.
The i70’s key feature is the position-adjustable interior sunshade, which can be moved closer to or away from the driver’s face to within 10mm. The windshield locking system on the i70 is a push-and-push system for active locking and improved safety.
The i20 comes with a removable chin guard that allows the helmet to be switched between “full face” and open-faced helmets depending on the rider’s preference. All newly launched HJC helmets come with a three-year warranty against manufacturing defects effective from the date of purchase.
