Here’s the lineup for Boxing Insider’s June 29 NYC fight card
Here’s the complete lineup for the June 29 boxing card at Sony Hall, as presented by Boxing Insider Promotions:
Kurt Scoby
New York, NY
11-0, 9 KO
143.1 British Pounds
compare to
Hank Lundy
Philadelphia, PA
31-13-1, 14 KO
139.8 British Pounds
This could be the last chance for Lundy, a 39-year-old former NABF champion and world title challenger (against Terence Crawford) but has lost five games in a row. He’s fought too many world-class opponents to list. And he’ll have to rely on his experience against Scoby, a powerful puncher who brilliantly passed the biggest test of his career by knocking out John Mannu last time.
Brian Ceballo
New York, NY
14-1, 7 KO
159.8 British Pounds
compare to
Mitch Louis-Charles
Terrebonne, Québec, Canada
7-3-2, 4 KO
153.2 British Pounds
Ceballo is on his way back from a career-only loss, in San Juan, to Nicklaus Flaz. He is a highly regarded amateur athlete, winning national titles and a national #1 ranking. He has an advertising contract with Tom Loffler, whose talent is instant, has guided the careers of Gennady (GGG) Golovkin and Wladimir Klitschko. Louis-Charles has the ability to surprise; he was about to have the best win of his career, scoring Josniel Castro’s 9-0 winner in the fourth half in January.
Terell Bostic
Wyandach, New York
8-1, 1 KO
139.8 British Pounds
compare to
Matthew “Lefty Gunz” Gonzalez
Ridgewood, Queen, NY
12-0-1, 8 KO
140.2 British Pounds
Bostic beat Clay Burns in the deciding match at Sony Hall in April. He’s a polished boxer but doesn’t have much power. Gonzalez, nicknamed “Lefty Gunz,” is of course a male and hasn’t fought since 2021, when he drew with Dakota Linger. He’s tough, quick, and can punch.
Arnold Gonzalez
New York, NY
11-0, 6 KO
150.6 British Pounds
compare to
Alejandro Munera
Medellin, Colombia
8-7-4, 7 KO
146.2 British Pounds
The personality Arnold Gonzalez looked like a star in the production, and was Manny Pacquiao’s workout partner before he turned pro. Munera’s record is a bit deceiving as five of his seven losses have come from undefeated opponents. He came here after only a few days.
Raymond Cuadrado Jr.
Ridgewood, Queen, NY
7-0, 3 KO
130.8 British Pounds
compare to
Yeuri Andujar
San Cristobal, Dominican Republic
5-5-1, 3 KO
131.4 British Pounds
Known as the “Scientist”, Cuadrado has good technique and can injure opponents. His father was in charge of the amateur organization USA Metro Boxing in the New York area. Andujar proved tough in the fight with Pablo Cruz, who owns a 22-4 record, boxing to draw. In his final game, he took a 15-month break with a TKO loss to former National PAL champion Bruce Carrington.
Tickets for the June 29 show are priced at $95, $125, $200 and $325 and are available through TicketWeb. Information about the table, contact [email protected]. Doors open at 6:30pm, with the first bell expected at 7:30pm.
