Have A Nice Death Lands Its First Transformation Update, Here Are The Full Patch Notes
Brutal Roguelite Have a good death received its first update on Switch, Gearbox Publishing SF announced.
While not too many tweaks have been made, it looks like this initial update was mainly focused on reducing the game’s load time. Adjustments have also been made to some bugs such as invisible attacks and glitches, and also some minor changes to some of the level designs.
The patch notes of the update have been shared by the publisher on official website and you can find all the details below:
Have a Nice Death Switch Hotfix (Updated April 3, 2023)
IMPROVE
– Better handling at the end of loading between levels (less freezing) and less performance issues at the start of levels (used to have poor performance seconds after a player spawned in some levels) )
– Changed package organization (removed duplicate references) to reduce build size from 2go to 1.5go and reduce loading time between levels (10% on average)
FIXES
– In Spacetime Injection, players were able to go to the final hidden boss when they shouldn’t.
– The player cannot reconnect the inputs the first time a new controller is plugged in.
– Minor level design bug fixes in all worlds.
– Players can be blocked after the Game over screen if they die after restarting the run (with pause menu).
– The game may crash when fighting in an arena with two Tempus (The inevitable moment).
– Invisible attack from Time boss.
– Fixed “Iranima” curse
– Logo does not appear at the start of the game.
We noted some performance issues earlier in Have a Nice Death in our review, but nonetheless we had a great time with the game, saying “the difficulty brutal, creative themes and satisfying combat all combine to make this a memorable and worthwhile experience.” Hopefully the update can begin to eliminate some of these issues and improve the playing experience in the process.
