At the end of November, Greenger Powersports announced the new Saddleback electric balance bike for kids.

With the foothills now dotted with suburban neighborhoods and a new generation of kids, Greenger is looking for a way for those kids to explore in a quiet and friendly way. Thus, the Saddleback electric balance bike was born.
Available in 12-inch or 16-inch models, the Saddleback is driven by a 22V 150W hub motor, disc brakes, a junior rider push mode or three adjustable speed modes. On the 12-inch model, the top speed for Class I is 5 mph, Class II is 7 mph, and Class III is 9 mph; Top speeds on the 16-inch model are 6.5 mph, 9.5 mph, and 12.5 mph.
Both models have aluminum rims. The 12-inch Saddleback weighs 20.9 lb and the 16-inch weighs 26.5 lb. The LG battery uses a tool-free mount to make changes quick and easy if needed and provides a claimed ride time of 50-70 minutes based on mixed riding conditions.
The Saddleback is available now in Black or White for $749 for the 12-inch and $949 for the 16-inch (plus $40 shipping and destination). Both bikes come with standard chargers.
