Graded Stakes Producer Ruby Lips Added to F-T November

Ruby Lips , the dam of multiple graded stakes winner Lone Rock  and stakes winner Gerrymander , has been supplemented to The November Sale, Fasig-Tipton’s marquee breeding stock sale in Lexington Nov. 9, as Hip 274. She is in foal to leading third-crop sire Constitution   and will be offered by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent.

Lone Rock was an impressive winner of the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance Stakes (G2) on the Breeders’ Cup World Championships undercard at Del Mar Nov. 6 in observe file time. The son of Majestic Warrior  has now earned more than $1 million.

Gerrymander won the Tempted Stakes Nov. 5 at Belmont Park, following a second within the Frizette Stakes (G1) to NetJets Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1) winner Echo Zulu . The daughter of Into Mischief   has now earned $235,500.

Ruby Lips, a graded stakes-placed performer at 2, comes from the immediate family of grade 1 winners Hard Not to Like  and Firery Ensign .

“Ruby Lips is a great addition to our catalog,” said Fasig-Tipton president and CEO Boyd Browning Jr. “Rarely does a broodmare have a weekend like this with her two of her offspring winning impressively at the top levels. Her first foal is a multiple graded stakes earner of over $1 million and set a new track record, while her current 2-year-old is a stakes winner and grade 1 placed in just four starts. She’s the complete package and in foal to the red-hot stallion Constitution.”
