Google Search, Maps, Photos, YouTube Recovering from Outage in Some Parts of the World
Many Twitter users are reporting outages affecting several Google services, including the company’s iconic search engine. Google Maps, Google Photos, Google Drive, Google Duo, GMail, and YouTube are some of the other services that users reportedly had trouble accessing this morning, according to Downdetector. The problems started around 6:37 a.m. IST when reports of problems began to rise above baseline, and by 7:07 a.m., there had been more than 41,000 such complaints. Affected services started back to normal at 7:22 a.m., but issues appear to persist for some users for now at least, according to the issue tracker. No cause for the disruption has yet to be determined.

On Twitter, user reactions ranged from delight to surprise, with some users commenting that they had never seen Google Search go down before.
