Gervonta Davis must serve the remainder of the 90-day sentence he received as a result of a hit-and-run crash while in custody. Davis, who was found guilty of fleeing the scene of an accident in Maryland a few weeks ago, was sentenced to 90 days of house arrest, along with community service and a period of parole. The The Baltimore Sun rhowever, eports alleges that Davis “moved twice without permission,” when he should have stayed home. According to Baltimore banner, Davis “was taken into custody after (an) ‘impromptu hearing’.” The Sun added that “Davis was taken into custody after a judge found that he was under house arrest at the Four Seasons and a luxury apartment – not the Baltimore home of his trainer, but his trainers.” She approved.”
Back in April, undefeated Davis knocked out Ryan Garcia in boxing’s first legal super fight in years. A talented, extremely unlikely multidisciplinary artist, this man has a huge fan base and a very promising future – if he stays out of trouble. That’s something Davis seems to have trouble doing, at least at times. In fact, the boxer speaks softly and politely in interviews. However, it is undeniable that he has crossed the legal system many times, sometimes for quite disturbing things – the collision and runaway for which he is currently being held as one.
