And no one is bothered by any of that.
The 136-pound weightlifting showdown between Gervonta Davis (28-0.26 KOs) and Ryan Garcia (23-0.19 KOs) is simply an intriguing pairing of two young, hot knockouts with Massive social media following and potential to become a champion. the face of sport someday.

And the organizers of the war are well aware of the reality. That’s why the pay-per-view fee in the US is a whopping $84.99. Fans may be surprised when they first see that number, but they’ll pay. This is an event not to be missed.
Is Garcia really a pony or a real threat to Davis?
He is a threat. Davis has said that Garcia has a good left hook but poor other points. Of course, that claim is partly Davis’s attempt to win over his opponents, but “The Tank” probably believes it to some extent. Yes, Garcia’s best weapon is his deadly left hook. That didn’t stop him from becoming a gifted, well-educated boxer whose punches were as powerful as his opponents’. He just doesn’t have to use all of his weapons to beat inferior opponents. Garcia is taking a significant step forward in protest. He may be overwhelmed by Davis. However, based on what we’ve seen of him against solid enemies, it would be a mistake to ignore him. The odds support that view. Davis is the favorite at 2½-1, meaning bettors consider it a competitive match.
Davis vs. Can Garcia generate 1 million pay-per-view purchases?
No possibility. As famous as the principal — both of whom have millions of followers on social media — doesn’t have the popular appeal of boxers like Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, whom even non-fans aren’t. boxing is also familiar. Plus, the exorbitant fee can scare off those on the fence. That’s not to say the organizers made a mistake on pricing. They know that die-hard fans will pay almost anything for this fight. And they are confident that even casual fans will find the match so compelling that they are willing to shell out exorbitant fees. The fans don’t care about boxing? It’s a hard sell. Mayweather is the best at marketing himself; Either you love him or hate him, that’s exactly where you want to be. Pacquiao has become a regular guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! That is so big. And both are the greatest of all time. Davis and Garcia are still building to become such stars.
Who has more to lose?
Davis. Tank has built a top reputation in knockout boxing by knockout, making him a top contender to be the face of the sport if he can continue. Win as his opponent gets harder and harder. And he may only need a few wins – against winners Haney-Lomachenko and Stevenson – to make that goal. And he is certainly capable of that, although it will be tough fights even for a boxer of his ability. If he loses Garcia, all is lost. He will recover, even after a knockout loss. However, his motivation will be wiped clean and he will never be seen the same way again. If Garcia loses, he might say, “Hey, I’m 24. I made a big bet and it didn’t work out.” Maybe you can compare it to Canelo Alvarez’s loss to Mayweather when he was 23 years old. The Mexicans did pretty well for themselves after the defeat, didn’t they?
Who is win?
Davis. Garcia will likely cause Davis problems early in the game, stabbing and landing powerful shots here and there and dodging his opponent’s biggest hits. However, it is hard to imagine that he will be able to avoid them in 12 rounds. Davis will most likely close the gap with Garcia in the middle rounds, unleashing more punches and causing him to collapse and be so badly injured that he can’t continue. I expect Davis to stop Garcia at some point in the second half of the match or win a decisive match. Does Garcia have a chance to win? Correct. He has an unusual combination of God-given gifts (incredible speed), ability and punch power. The problem for him is that Davis has those qualities as well but is a better technical guy and has more experience in big fights. That’s why Davis is favored. And that’s why he will probably win.
