Next, Gabby introduced Erichher ultimate suitor, to Bachelor Nation’s most beloved parents, aunts, and fans Grandpa John. The visit itself went very well, with Erich telling Gabby’s family: “I can’t imagine my life without her.”
Back to Rachel, who was still reeling from her confusing conversation with Aven as she introduced Tino for her family. Tino was very awkward and nervous, unable to connect in the same way that Aven did. When Big Tony told Tino about Tino’s family not liking Rachel, Tino expressed that he was also shocked, saying, “Honestly, all I said to my dad was sports.”
However, he assured Rachel’s family that they would visit, and ended the day with the comment, “I’m a bit taken aback at how well the meeting with Rachel’s family went.”
With potential relationships awaiting, it’s clear that Rachel and Aven still have a lot to discuss. Rachel visits his room, telling him that she feels “blinded” by his sudden hint that he’s not ready to be engaged.
“I want to leave here with you,” Aven told Rachel. “I want that more than anything. I’m sitting here trying to fight for it.”
But Rachel doesn’t approve.
Rachel sobs and tells Aven it’s over between them. As they both cried, they hugged and Aven whispered, “I’m sorry, Rachel.”
Of course, Aven was backstage and stepped out for a one-on-one chat with Rachel, where the two worked things out. Aven said he regretted not telling Rachel about his engagement procrastination in front of her friends, eventually saying, “I don’t fully understand what you need and want.”
