FV Hospital leverages AI to control myopia and summarizes more
FV Hospital launches myopia control service using AI
FV Hospital, one of the largest private hospitals in Vietnam, has recently launched a myopia control program for children and adolescents aged 3-18.
The new service aims to screen young people for myopia risk, predict future myopia levels and provide a plan to manage myopia progression. The service is offered annually and includes screening, a treatment plan and guidance on myopia control, including lifestyle changes and quarterly follow-ups.
The core of the program is Myopia Master from the Australian company Myopia Profile. The device uses AI to predict and analyze the progression of myopia. FV ophthalmologists use its analysis to tailor myopia control regimens for their patients.
Besides Myopia Master, the program is also supported by the Pentacam refractometry system, which helps evaluate corneal curvature, thickness, condition and detect congenital corneal diseases.
