Forza Horizon 5 players get rich quick with Jeeps
Help players unlock gifts and earn money, instead of playing the game the way the developers may have intended, they’ll likely find the laziest and most efficient way to get there. In Forza Horizon 5, this involves buying old Jeeps. Lots of Jeeps. Players have discovered that Willys’ multitude of Jeeps give them a cheap way to get big spins on the prizewheel, potentially win big money, and unlock rare cars. The game is filled with Jeeps.
As Windows Central note, 1945 Jeep Willys are cheap to buy with credits and cheap to upgrade with Skill Points, and upgrades earn you Super Wheelspins — a big step on the prize wheel when it comes to paying out credits and rewards. Unlock everything. So some players are plowing everything into crappy Jeeps. Obviously you can get a refund of Skill Points if you donate a car, so the Jeep farmers are giving them away freely. Some players find themselves inundated with rando jeeps.
Granted Supras can do the same, but it’s a bit less efficient and less than, you know, silly.
Though I do like how some players try to raise morale and reduce gift disappointment by sending in not-so-bad cars.
Perhaps the Playground Games devs will tweak this at some point, making it less efficient, less annoying for people inundated with the same vehicle. Does this make you say “Please! Soon!” or “Wait! Not yet!” can reveal a lot about you.
Ours Forza Horizon 5 . Review said it was “Not the best racing game ever made, but a contender for best driving game.” That’s pretty good okay. The game launched right on Tuesday, after an early access period for pre-orders — during which a number of people started farming Willys.
