Everyone has an opinion about the Switch Online service, and it seems former Nintendo employees are no different.

In a very honest response to a fan question, former Nintendo Minute Kit co-owner (currently running weekly podcast with Krysta) shared his thoughts on Nintendo’s current “drip-feeding” classic gaming strategy.

It turned out that he was a bit frustrated with the service as a whole, and while he didn’t mind the initial NES and SNES offerings for Switch Online, he felt everything after that was mostly “bad” and has no What is clearly indicative of what the plan is going on.

“I think it helps to let people know what the plan is, like how often I get these… I think the original NES and Super Nintendo games – those are the groups great game, but everything after that was mostly bad, and it became very inconsistent, so they basically finished this compared to the stuff they dug up that i never heard of talk about it…yes, so that’s what I’m worried about where they add the Nintendo 64 and Genesis, that’s like what’s the plan? them, than I do with other platforms.”

In regards to what other platform Nintendo should add, Kit thinks Nintendo should probably give fans some “newer” systems because obviously Ice Hockey for the current NES does not cut it.

“This is just me, if I was still working at Nintendo I’d like something newer, because this thing is old… If you’re a young player you’ll love this, and why I want to play Ice Hockey on the NES again, which makes no sense to me… a lot of those NES games, like the original NES games, belong in a museum.”

Krysta added that GameCube games could help with the situation, and Kit reiterated how the company needs to be more transparent with its plans for the service.

“…IIt’s not hard to process what I’m getting out of this, so I think it would help a lot if they were just a little more transparent about the plans for each of these levels. “

What do you think of Kit’s response to NSO? Do you think Nintendo needs to provide more information on what they plan to do with different online tiers in the future? Is it too inconsistent with the service? Please leave your own thoughts below.
