Former God Of War Ragnarok Game Producer Joins Nintendo

One of the standout video games of 2022 is the Santa Monica Studio exclusive PlayStation god of war Ragnarok. The game launched last month and now that it’s released to fans around the globe, it looks like there’s some movement in the studio.

God of War Ragnarok and God of War (2018) game producer Hannah Foell left the studio to become senior director of partnership management at Nintendo of America. Here, she’ll help build developer-publisher relationships with ‘AAA’ teams – to help bring “new experiences” to players on the Nintendo platform.

“I’m excited to be joining the 3rd party team at Nintendo of America to foster developer-publisher relationships. I can’t wait to start working with AAA developers to bring the players exciting new experiences.”

According to Foell’s LinkedIn, she worked as a game producer at Santa Monica Studio from February 2016 to December 2022. Prior to that, she worked at Harmonix Music Systems for less than a year to create Work on Rock band 4 as a manufacturer.

The Nintendo Switch has enjoyed a lot of success since its launch in 2017 but has sometimes struggled to attract some third-party franchises. Fortunately, the situation has improved over the years with series like personalities, witch, border, Portal and even recently The Last Illusion the remake is making its way to the combo system.
