Range ratings for the F-150 Lightning have been confirmed and some versions can exceed 300 miles. Honda plans to tweak its EVs with some additional wind tunnel work. Ford has confirmed the EPA’s estimated range numbers for the upcoming F-150 Lightning electric pickup truck, and they indicate slightly more range than previously suggested. With an extended battery pack (ER) of 131 kwh, Lightning will provide 320 miles in fleet-focused XLT, Laries and Pro versions. That’s better than the “up to 300 miles” Ford pointed out earlier.
In the transition to electric vehicles, aerodynamics is more important than ever.
