Kia EV6 2025: Facelift launched with larger battery

The car’s trapezoidal shell is now gone, replaced by a curved rectangular panel. The infotainment system supports both Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay.

In front of the driver is an updated two- and three-spoke steering wheel design. Newly available features include a digital rearview mirror, an upgraded 12.0-inch head-up display, augmented reality navigation, and a fingerprint reader that can be used to start the vehicle. pipe.

In the over-the-air update the upgraded EV6 is not limited to just the infotainment and navigation system, Kia can now roll out new software for the powertrain and other systems.

For its launch in Korea, the facelifted EV6 is available with two powertrains: one motor rear drive with 168kW And 350Nmand a dual motor four-wheel drive version with 239kW And 605Nm.

Kia says the new engine is quieter than before and claims to have stiffened the body while retuning the car’s suspension to improve ride comfort.

Both rear- and all-wheel drive EV6 models have more than 84kWh of power, now supporting DC fast charging up to 350kW. Unladen weight ranges from 1985kg to 2100kg depending on vehicle specifications.

In Korea, the test range is said to range from 432 km (all-wheel drive with 20-inch wheels) to 494 km (rear-wheel drive with 19-inch wheels).

The revised EV6 will go on sale in South Korea in June. Timing for the Australian market, as well as specifications and pricing, are yet to be confirmed.
