Josh Kelly returns home to the North East of England tomorrow night as he wants two wins out of two in a row.
The 28-year-old from Sunderland has to face challenge of ‘El Tornado’ Lucas Brian Bastida, who will fight outside Argentina for the first time in his career.
After 16 months of absence from the ring Kelly sheds the web to defeat Peter Kramer six weeks ago. ‘Pretty Boy’ has displayed a skill set that many believe can still take him to the top of the sport.
The Super-Welterweight division, coached by Adam Booth, is currently linked with a series of bouts including one against British champion Troy Williamson.
Bastida lost only 1 out of 20 competitions. South America has a reputation for being tough and unshakable so a reasonable test should lie in wait for Kelly.
The winner will receive the WBO International Super Welterweight title and the world top 15 with the governing body.
