Shooting on location is a great way to really expand your creativity, but the flip side to that is the logistics are a bit more complicated. This means that photographers will often choose to simplify their equipment a bit, which means they will often fall back to using just a single light. However, as you’ll see, you can still create professional-looking portraits with a single light, and they make it easier to work with fluidity.
