After the pre-order period, early access is very popular Server is overloaded and put players in long queues, Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker is now officially released. The fourth expansion pack for Square Enix’s fantasy MMORPG continues the story with new missions, adding two new player classes, taking us to new areas to battle new enemies and most importantly, opening offers a male option for the Viera race so you can play as a bunny in a maid outfit. Yes, longing for those bunnies will only make the queue longer.
Endwalker brings to a conclusion the story of Hydaelyn and Zodiark, which began many years ago and Whose summary? I can’t understand from afar. Does that mean new missions in new areas, including… the moon? Alright, great. Love a little moon, baby. New classes also appear: Sage, a new healer with ranged magical attacks; and Reaper, a melee DPS job armed with a two-handed scythe. The level cap was also increased from 80 to 90. And new gear, new enemies and… it’s an MMO expansion, you get it.
To watch patch notes version 6.0 for more novelty along with the expansion, including letting those bunnies act as maids. Several parts of Endwalker, including a new raid and new PvP antics, will appear in later updates.
As for the overloaded servers, Squeenix announced over the weekend that it plans to give active subscribers 7 days free. Today they speak will begin rolling out today, although it can take up to 3 days for the process to finish. In the past, they have said that efforts to expand server capacity and create new worlds have been hampered by global hardware shortages.
Square Enix also today mentioned that FF14 has set a “new registered player milestone of 25 million.” It’s a myth to think how much FF14 has grown and improved since it first came out in 2010. The game is in such bad shape that Square Enix paused the subscription fee to apologize and finally together closed its doors completely, before relaunching with a major overhaul called ‘A Realm Reborn’ in 2013. Since then, it has grown by leaps and bounds. The player count is also certainly helped by the fact that it has a generous free trial, even including the first expansion.
I heard that testing is great. I heard many people won that trial. I heard the game is great. I heard the game has swallowed up players who have left World Of Warcraft. And that’s probably why I couldn’t try it. Now that I’m just going back in time from Destiny, I just can’t fall into another MMO. But is it good? Not that I will try it. But if I did, would I like it?
