FORT MYERS, Fla.– Florida Freeway Patrol troopers responded to a lethal crash early on Monday morning.
A Chevy Pickup truck was driving on Bayshore Gardens Parkway whereas approaching a curve. The 40-year-old man driving ran off the highway and into the grassy shoulder.
A 68-year-old man was sleeping within the space subsequent to the highway with a blanket and his issues. The truck ran him over, killing him.
Officers pronounced the pedestrian lifeless on the scene of the crash.
FHP is actively investigating the deadly crash.
