Type-Moon Studio BB distributed a new trailer for Fate / Extra Recorda remake of 2010 Fate / Extra. The new video is the first trailer and update on the state of the game since late 2020. It shows off some of the other graphics updates the game received in the interim. There are also clips from various Servants’ Noble Phantasms and from in-game story sequences.

2022 Fate / Extra Record The trailer features narration by Twice’s character H. Pieceman, as well as by Saber, Rin, Julius, and Rider. Other characters from the game such as Taiga, Leo, Rani and Shinji also make their first appearance here. Exploring environments and gameplay are shown, as well as cutscenes of Dan Blackmore’s Servant’s battles with Archer and Lancer. It ends with the shots of Rider’s Noble Phantasm, and when Saber summons her Aestus Domus Aurea.
Fate / Extra first released in 2010 on the PSP. A part of Fate / Stay Night, it tells the original story of the “Holy Grail War on the Moon”, between Masters summoned to a virtual environment managed by the Moon Cell, a supercomputer powerful enough to alter reality. It received a Japanese-specific sequel, Fate / Extra CCCand later turned into an action game Fate / Extella and Fate/Extella . Link. Fate / Extra introduced a number of Servants that would later become main characters in a wider range Destiny franchises, especially stories about Fate / Grand Order. The Servants Nero Claudius, Francis Drake, Tamamo-no-Mae, Sessyoin Kiara, Robin Hood, and the more popular Servants are all descended from Fate / Extra or its related means.
Despite the arrival of a new trailer, Fate / Extra Record no release window or confirmed international release plans yet. It was first announced in July 2020, along with a video in progress of the game. In December 2020, Type-Moon Studio BB released another Caster-focused trailer.
Fate / Extra Record is in the process of development. It has no target platform or release window specified at this time.
