Fantasy RB Leaderboard Week 11: Who to start, sit back and run again in fantasy football
Running home was a disaster last week before the game started. Not only are fantasy football bosses facing their usual goodbyes, but we’re also dealing with a slew of injuries and “questionable” backs. We’ve only had two goodbyes this week (Rams, Broncos), but with several RBs already back or expected to return this week – plus injury concerns and new matches – Our Week 11 fantasy RB rankings are some of the toughest we’ve had to put together all seasons.
As usual, matches take place this week. The likes of Jonathan Taylor (vs Bills), Austin Ekeler (vs Steelers), Cordarrelle Patterson (vs Patriots), James Robinson (vs 49ers), D’Andre Swift (vs Browns) and Saquon Barkley (vs. Buccaneers) are in difficult positions on paper, but they’ll be on all of the fantasy rosters as long as they’re healthy. The tougher calls were the likes of Alex Collins/Chris Carson (vs. Cardinals), Jordan Howard/Boston Scott (vs. Saints), Zack Moss/Devin Singletary (@Colts) and Antonio Gibson (vs. Panthers), who are also in interesting spots but will likely be in a lot of lineups. However, things are more complicated in Buffalo with Matt Breida stealing touches, and Philadelphia could see a return for Miles Sanders (ankle), so keep an eye out.
RANKING STANDARD WEEK 11:
Midfielder | Wide receiver | Tight ending | VND / ST | Kicker
David Johnson and Phillip Lindsay (@Titans) may not be considered for many fantasy owners, but we’d like to point out that after this week their matches will soon get better. Houston will face the Jets in Week 12, the Seahawks in Week 14, the Jaguars in Week 15, and the Chargers in Week 16 – all of which are poorly run defenses. You can buy Johnson and Lindsay for cheap (probably for free), so it’s not a bad idea to buy now to prepare for the long run.
WEEK 11 PPR ASSESSMENT:
Midfielder | Run back | Wide receiver | Tight ending | VND / ST | Kicker
In terms of favorable matches, AJ Dillon (@ Vikings), Darrel Williams / Clyde Edwards-Helaire (vs Cowboys), Michael Carter (vs Dolphins), Myles Gaskin (@ Jets) and D’Onta Foreman / Adrian Peterson (vs Texans) looks good this week. The latter three have seven top-flight games, so it will be difficult to keep them out of the lineup. Even the backups of Ty Johnson (vs. Dolphins), Eno Benjamin (@Seahawks) and Jeremy McNichols (vs Texans) have some dynamic swings, especially in PPR tournaments. Tony Pollard (@Chiefs) is another fallback in a good spot.
Overall, health will go a long way to determining when to start and sit. Whether it’s someone like Devonta Freeman (@ Bears) or Mark Ingram (@ Eagles) is more or less burdened by the health of Latavius Murray (ankle) or Alvin Kamara (knee), or simply Nick Chubb (COVID), Damien Harris (concussion), Kareem Hunt (calf) and Aaron Jones (knee) return and join the lineup, imaginary owners will have plenty of tough decisions to make in the game. this week. We’ll be here to help with all of your tough choices.
Note: We’ll be updating these RB leaderboards throughout the week, so check back for the latest player analysis and movements.
