Week 12: The best abandonment pick-up car

Is Calvin Ridley playing Week 12?

Arthur Smith said Monday afternoon that he no update on Ridley (individual), which probably means that the star receiver will remain on the reserve/NFI list. If healthy, Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle), Kyle Pitts and Russell Gage will continue to function as the Falcons’ top catchers.

All three have potential fantasy value heading into the Week 12 game against Jacksonville, with Patterson and Pitts as starters and Gage as a boom or bust WR3/flex in PPR tournaments.

WEEK 12 PPR RANKING:
Midfielder | Run back | Wide receiver | Tight ending | VND / ST | Kicker

Kareem Hunt injury update

Hunt (calf) was close to the competition last week, and Browns “hope” he’ll be on the field against Raven in Week 12. All signs point to him returning, but we’ll just have to wait and see until the official word is out.

Going into Week 11, Baltimore dropped its 11th highest fantasy score per game for fantasy RB, so there’s a lot of work behind Chubb for Hunt. Hunt is ours RB25 in standard and PPR tournaments.

WEEK 12 STANDARD RANKING:
Midfielder | Run back | Wide receiver | Tight ending | VND / ST | Kicker

Logan Thomas injury update

Thomas (hamstring) expected to return to training this week, so we could finally see him on the pitch following the return rumors of the past few weeks. We think Thomas has the best record of six late-stage PPR tournaments, but we’re also open to watching him compete and see what he looks like. If he’s in your leagues, pick him up, but we don’t blame you if you keep him on the bench against Seattle this week.

Seattle is solid against fantasy tight endings, so we rank Thomas as just TE17 in standard and TE16 in PPR . tournaments. His comeback is still a top 5 game this week, but we will limit expectations in his first game in two months.

DeVante Parker & Will Fuller Injury Update

Brian Flores isn’t sure if Parker (hamstring) and/or Fuller (finger) will make their debut this week, and without any factual information we wouldn’t speculate either. If either play, the match against Carolina is not exciting. If you need to play one of them when they come back, Parker has a pretty good PPR ceiling and Fuller should be a boom or bust guy like we’ve seen in the past. We’re not worried about Fuller’s injury because his pace is clearly unaffected. However, Parker’s hamstring could limit him.

At the end of the day, both guys will likely rank outside the top 36 and be seen as merely versatile picks.
