This Friday is a cloudy day in Atlanta. And the weather reflects the heart of the city as it prepares to bury one of its lyrical talents – gone too soon. Funeral services are underway for Bell Kirsnick Kharibetter known in the entertainment industry as Take off.
The young rapper was shot and killed in Houston on November 1 while attending a private event with quavo. Officials declared him dead at the scene after being shot multiple times in the head and torso. Police are still investigating the shooting, but his Quality Control label is to blame for the unfortunate incident.“senseless violence and a stray bullet.” Take off is 28.
Funeral take-off service underway in Atlanta
Takeoff, along with his uncle Quavo and cousin Offset, achieved mainstream success in the Migos group. But in recent months, the group broke up for unconfirmed reasons. Quavo and Takeoff release joint albumBuilt for infinity links only, on October 7th.
Just a few short weeks after Takeoff asked to influence his music Drink Champs, rappers are no longer here to accept them. Based on TMZ, Takeoff’s funeral begins at the State Farm Arena at noon local time. Earlier this week, Georgia residents could purchase up to two tickets through Ticketmaster.

Although photos or videos are prohibited inside the venue, people have posted both online. Cyclic footage shows a packed venue with family, friends and fans filling the stands.
A booklet detailing the service schedule, including musical selections and combinations, a montage, poetry and bible readings, and personal reflections from attendees. Justin Beiber is said to be one of the pre-booked musical performances.
Takeoff’s family has asked everyone to donate to Rocket Foundation instead of flowers or gifts, support anti-gun violence programs, Page Six.
Before the service began, street videos captured the hearse carrying Takeoff driving through the city.

Since his passing, fans have been creative with tributes to the rapper. Takeoff has inspired a wave of social media favorites, from artwork to haircuts, as his family begins to take him to his resting place.

Meanwhile, celebrities are also taking to social media to send their condolences and love as they share his family’s grief. Meek Mill took to Twitter to offer prayers and apologize for missing the funeral.
Mayor of Atlanta Reportedly Presents Prize to Take Off
Based on gossip in the city, Atlanta’s mayor presented Takeoff with the prestigious Phoenix Award during the memorial service.
The outlet also claimed that Drake cried while reading a poem dedicated to the fallen artist. Additionally, the outlet said Offset and Quavo attended the services as a united front.
“Today Offset and Quavo met. Both said they want to focus on brotherhood and family. The offset speech was very emotional and he was barely able to say anything.” Rumors in the city speak.
