RHOSLC’s Jen Shah asks judge to drop Hulu documentary fraud case
Jen Shah asked the judge to dismiss her fraud case after Hulu released their new documentary, The Housewife & the Shah Shocker.
In the documentary, several federal agents commented on Jen’s arrest before she was brought to trial.
Jen pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to launder money and conspiracy to commit wire fraud. Her arrest was caught on camera by Bravo, but she said she was innocent.

Jen asked a judge to dismiss the fraud case, claiming that the agents provided details that were not publicly available, and provided their own opinions.
“Their conduct has destroyed any chance that Ms. Shah will receive a fair trial with a fair jury,” her attorney wrote in a letter to the judge.
“Given both Hulu’s massive nationwide viewership and Ms. Shah’s public popularity, relocating would not protect Ms. Shah’s interests, nor would alternatives such as directing detailed or rigorous jury,” the court document continued, earlier asking for the indictment to be dismissed.
A judge has yet to rule on the decision.
