Ex-girlfriend of murdered Idaho student creates Instagram for their dog Murphy
Following the brutal murders of University of Idaho students Kaylee Goncalves, Maddie Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin on November 13, police discovered Kaylee’s dog, Murphy, closed in her third-floor bedroom Teacher. Murphy was unharmed. Since his mother’s murder, Murphy has lived with Jack Ducoeur, Goncalves’ ex-boyfriend.
And now, Ducoeur has created an Instagram for one year old Murphy, where he can share his life and remember Kaylee with others. The account went live earlier this week and has amassed over 66,000 followers. The comments were filled with love and support for both Murphy and Ducoeur.
I feel sorry for your mother
Goncalves and ex-boyfriend Ducoeur adopted Goldendoodle Murphy during their five-year relationship. After Goncalves and Jack broke up, Murphy split his time between his parents. Daily mail reports that the couple’s friends and family members believe the two will reunite.
Through his new Instagram account, Murphy shared memories of Kaylee, the first post showing him watching the sunset over the water with the touching caption, “I miss my mom every day, but trying to Try to live your best life. I have to admire her beauty in the sky tonight.”
Another post revealed one of Kaylee’s favorite photos of Murphy, the adorable dog sharing: “My mom loves this photo.”
Ducoeur was cleared of suspicion by police but still faced harassment and false accusations until police arrested Bryan Kohberger at the end of December. Accusations that he harmed Kaylee were made. make him “heartbroken”. Brooke Miller, DuCoeur’s aunt, told New York Post Office“Not only did he lose the love of his life, and what we all thought and he probably thought too, would be his future wife – you know, getting married and having kids and all. all those things.”
Can animal fur help in this case?
After searching the apartment of murder suspect Bryan Kohberger, court documents show investigators collected eight hairs from the suspect’s residence. Among them, one is animal hair “maybe”. Investigators have not yet confirmed whether any of the hair belonged to the victim or if the animal hair was Murphy’s.
Kohberger is currently being held without bail, but his attorney reports that his client plans to plead not guilty to the charges against him.
