Ex-Detroit Lions, Liberty full-back Jessie Lemonier dies aged 25
Outsider Jessie Lemonier, who appeared in seven matches for Detroit lion 2021, passed away. He is 25 years old.
The Lions revealed his death in a statement on Thursday, adding they had confirmed it with his family. They do not provide any details.
“Jessie was an exemplary teammate and a wonderful young man who passed away too soon,” said the Lions. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this difficult time.”
Lemonier was signed to the Lions training team ahead of the 2022 season, a few days before being released by Los Angeles charger. He has 17 tackles and 1 1/2 hits, with the other half being counters arizona on December 19, 2021.

Lemonier was abandoned by the Lions in May and claimed by Arizona. He spent the season with the Cardinals and part of the training came before being cut this past summer. He signed with Houston Gambler afterward USFL in December and traded with Birmingham Stallions.
Lemonier was picked by Arlington Renegades in the 2023 XFL Draft but chose to stay with the USFL.
After playing at Hialeah High School in Florida, Lemonier spent one season at Ventura University in California before transferring to Liberty, where he helped the school transition from the FCS level to the FBS level for two seasons. his (2018-19).
Lemonier ended his career at Liberty by winning the MVP title in the 2019 Cure Bowl, helping the Flames to their first bowl win. With victory South GeorgiaLiberty became the third FBS to win a sloppy game in the entire first season.
