EVx 2023 – Be the first to see Audi’s e-tron GT, Q8 e-tron at the Setia City Convention Center, July 22-23
The electric car show paultan.org (EVx) 2023 is now coming, starting from July 22-23 In Setia City Convention Center. Malaysia’s biggest electric car event is back and better than ever with a wide range of car brands and service providers participating.
Some are making their first appearance at the EVx, such as Audi Malaysia. Audi’s official distributor in Malaysia will bring its range of e-tron electric vehicles to SCCC, including the RS e-tron GT, e-tron GT quattro, e-tron GT quattro with Dynamic Package and the Q8 e-family. tron consists of a regular SUV and a Sportback.
Recently launched in Malaysia, this is the first public appearance of the e-tron models and EVx visitors will be among the first in the country to get up close and personal with the Q8 series. e-tron and the glamorous e-tron GT line. The latter part is of course Tony Stark’s ride, as seen in the movie Avengers: Game over.
The e-tron GT is a revolutionary technological and emotional sports car that reinterprets the classic idea of granite model with electric motor. e-tron GT quattro is equipped with two electric motors (one on each axle for quattro AWD) that produce a total power of 530 PS and 640 Nm of torque in acceleration mode, helping to accelerate from 0-100 km / h. in just 4.1 seconds.
Or you can complete Iron Man with the RS e-tron GT, which takes the performance level to 646 PS and 830 Nm (accelerated mode) to take you from rest to 100 km/h in just 3, 3 seconds. The GT has an 83.7 kWh battery that provides a range of up to 458 km on the WLTP cycle. When plugged into a DC fast charger capable of matching a car’s maximum input power of 270 kW, a state of charge (SoC) from 5-80% takes just 22.5 minutes. RS has a range of 447 km.
If you’re more of a family man, try the Q8 e-tron SUV for size. Choose from two body styles (regular SUV and Sportback with sloped roof), each available in two variants, the advanced 50 quattro and the S line 55 quattro. Despite being a full-size family car, the Q8 e-tron puts out 408 hp and 664 Nm of torque, which is good enough for the century sprint time of 5.6 seconds.
Maximum range is 481 km on 55, has a 114 kWh battery, rechargeable via 22 kW AC and 170 kW DC – with the latter, the SoC reaches 0-80% in 31 minutes. EV aside, the big cruiser has tech like advanced Adaptive Cruise Control, digital matrix LED headlights and virtual rearview mirrors. The latter uses a camera instead of a traditional rearview mirror.
Audi e-tron customers will be offered the option to purchase the Moon Power wall box charger in 11 kW and 22 kW variants starting September. In addition, all three Audi Centers in Malaysia – Glenmarie, Setia Alam and Juru – have been equipped with Moon Power AC and DC chargers (3x AC 22 kW, 1x DC 180 kW each) for exclusive and free use of e-tron customers who bring their electric vehicles for maintenance or repair. Moon Power is a subsidiary of Porsche Holding Salzburg and it is the brand’s first foray outside of Europe.
Besides Audi, a variety of brands are participating in EVx, such as Mercedes-Benz And smart (represented by Hap Seng Star and Hap Seng Smart respectively), BMW car And SMALL (via Wheelcorp Premium), Volvo, hyundai, BYD, GWM And lotus flower all are set to showcase their all-electric services. Other exhibitors include Petronas, Gentari, JomCharge (via EV connection), Kineta, evhub.my, Islamic Bank, Bank of Muamalat, V-Kol And Dodo Mat.
