Ella Toone put England ahead in the 62nd minute with a delicate lob after a situation facing the German goalkeeper.

Beth Mead won the Golden Shoe after finishing the tournament with six goals – 12 months after she was dropped from Team GB’s Olympic squad for the Tokyo Olympics.
