To say that FromSoftware’s Elden Ring has taken the gaming community by storm will be something unpredictable. In fact, According to publisher Bandai NamcoThe challenging RPG has shipped 13.4 million copies worldwide since its launch in February of this year.
Elden Rings, currently available on PlayStation and PC platforms, always destined for some form of greatness – given the pedigree of the development team and the intense hype engine that drove the title for release – but it seems nobody rather predict the amazing success that the title has received. Elden Ring became the Game of the Year 2022 so far, and it would seem foolish to bet against it as the Game of the Year champion when December arrives.
Like so many major releases, the excitement around the title becomes more than simply playing a great game. Elden Ring has amassed a huge fanbase with its deep lore, intriguing character roster, incredible worlds, nightmarish enemies, innovative mods and strange eccentricity. In a season filled with major releases, Elden Ring has found a way to stay far and away from the pack, becoming something of a top release among top releases.
And it’s still early days for the title, as both the die-hard fan base and more indifferent players will dig deeper into its gritty gothic ‘n’ mysteries as this year rolls on, in as the creators will continue to develop their own fan art projects taken directly from the world of The Lands Between. Elden Ring is something of A Happening, which is clearly reflected in its hugely successful worldwide success.
According to Bandai Namco’s latest earnings announcement, worldwide shipments of ELDEN RING have exceeded 13.4 million units (as of March 31).https://t.co/k2osoZLwmp (p.5)
