Edgeway, Private Mission Vie in Five-Horse Las Flores


In a match against highly regarded older female athletes on March 13 at Santa Anita . Park, Edgeway and Private mission a battle in the five-horse arena at Las Flores Stakes (G3) worth $100,000 on six horses.

Edgeway of Hronis Racing has been in form on her side. She placed second in Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Sprint (G1) on November 6 at Del Mar and then won Merneith in the unranked Kalookan Queen Stakes at 6 1/2 extending further at Santa Anita on January 2. John Velazquez returns in her boat.

A mare 5 years old by Competitive advantage out of the mare Stormin Fever Magic solution , Edgeway will be looking for a second-placed win after taking the Rancho Bernardo (G3) handicap last summer for coach John Sadler. She earned $596,360 from a 6-2-1 record in 10 starts.
