Edgar Berlanga’s career opening went more smoothly than expected. The Puerto Rican-born player shouted after 16 consecutive knockouts before shouting, “I’m a monster.”

With each concussion victory, however, Berlanga slowly but surely placed more pressure on his broad shoulders. Admittedly Berlanga answered very well. Against Demond Nicholson, although Berlanga was pushed through the first round for the first time in his career, he knocked his man down multiple times, en route to a failed victory. However, in the match against Marcelo Esteban Coceres, Berlanga was dropped before scoring the goal.

A few months later, Berlanga made a sloppy, but apparently, unanimous decision against Steve Rolls. With the 25-year-old anxious to not only maintain his unbeaten record but also do so in violent fashion, he has been tipped as an unfaithful participant Alexis Angulo.

Berlanga couldn’t help but smile as he passed his fellow Puerto Ricans at Madison Square Garden’s Hulu Theater. Moments later, Berlanga’s cheerful demeanor turned eerie as he stepped out into the middle of the ring for the opening round. Angulo, undaunted by the roaring crowd, happily exchanged blows with the overzealous 25-year-old.

As Anuglo sped up the fight, Berlanga struggled to hold his ground, ignoring a few outstretched right arms. At the end of the first season, he seems to poke Angulo with his aching left hand. Painful to continue where he had left off, Berlanga charged fiercely to start the second installment. However, while he found a home for his right hand, Angulo made him pay, landing a lot of the top lane inside.

Berlanga, to his credit, seemed unfazed by Angulo’s onslaught and lured him in to move in. With the former title holder dashing forward, Berlanga landed his right arm almost perfectly. However, despite his accuracy, Angulo continued to march forward with momentum.

In the fifth installment, a tired-looking Berlanga rushes into the center of the ring. An obvious move by Angulo is evident as he is rough with his much younger man inside. The 38-year-old pinned Berlanga to a rope and tore it open, to the outrage of the Berlanga supporters crowd.

As the prospect of the upcoming £168th began to tire, he watched the referee warily as Angulo buried his head in his chest in an attempt to turn it into a rough and tough match.

Berlanga looked exasperated dashing out of his corner in the seventh installment. When Angulo once again delivered deadly blows to his elder, Berlanga did his best to close the box with his hind legs. Occasionally, the average 168-pound prospect tagged Angulo with a headbutt, forcing his loyal fans to get up and cheer him vehemently.

In season eight, Angulo was consistent in his attack. He raised his hands aloft and smiled as Berlanga’s blows bounced harmlessly off his gloves. When given the opportunity, Angulo found his range and smashed Berlanga into the ropes. It’s the same in seasons 9 and 10, when Berlanga tries hard to change the dynamics of the fight.

In the final seconds of the final round, Berlanga bypassed Angulo several times, choosing to play it safe. But, when the last bell rang, Berlanga walked straight in front of Angulo, speaking while trying to headbutt his man. The two are then separated by their opposite corners and lead to the center of the ring.

Both Berlanga and Angulo patiently waited for the final vote count. During the lengthy delay, Berlanga confidently raised her hand while flexing in front of the crowd. Moments later, he had reason to smile as he handed out a decidedly out-of-concentric victory.
