Dubois Eyes vs Joshua and Whyte
After his beat Trevor Bryan over the weekend, Daniel Dubois says he’s ready for the big fights.
The dominating show in Miami ended after four rounds with the 24-year-old landing with a left hook to end the American opponent’s meek challenge. Back in the UK with the WBA ‘Regular’ heavyweight belt, Dubois went to the talkSPORT studio and was asked about facing winners Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua.
“Oh yeah, I’m ready for the winner, line them up!” Dubois replied. “I’m waiting for this moment, I like it to be Joshua, but whoever it is it’s the big league.”
“I want to have a few more matches under my belt, with that belt, and defend it to really make my mark and leave a legacy as a champion.”
His promoter Frank Warren was asked about a potential the fight between Dubois and Dillian Whyte. This topic was once again brought up in the talkSPORT interview.
“It was a war. This is all business, no disrespect to anyone, but I’m here to clean up and get rid of those who stand in my way.”
