In fact, believe it or not, Doja’s remarkable fashion sense was the driving force behind her 2018 viral hit, “Mooo!,” which unexpectedly catapulted her (and crawl for a while) focus – and start her career.
“Okay, so I love cosplay — not really cosplaying in a nerdy way, I just love dressing up,” she told HighSnobiety of her inspiration that year. “That was a huge part of what inspired me to make music. I used to go on Instagram Live and I bought a lot of outfits. One outfit I wore that day was a cow. It was worth it. hate the shirt; the sleeves are weird. I love it and I just don’t know what to write about that moment.”
