Ghostbusters’ Kymberly Herrin dies aged 65


Eighties movie fans are mourning the passing of Kymberly Herrin.

Kymberly, a famous actress in 1984 horror movie and Romantic stonedied at the age of 65, according to the obituary shared by Santa Barbara News-Press. While the cause of death has not been confirmed, Kymberly passed away “serenely” on October 28 in Santa Barbara, Calif.

Looking back at the legacy she has left, the obituary shares that Kymberly, who was born in Lompoc, Calif., has led a life filled with travel, sailing and achievements. Kymberly’s career includes not only films, but also acting as a model “who appeared on the covers of more than a dozen magazines, both nationally and internationally.”

Her modeling journey includes becoming a dissipated Playmates, each Weekly entertainment. And in March 1981, Kymberly was named Player of the Month. Kymberly’s real-life buddy role is shown on screen in the movie Beverly Hills Police II.

Delving deeper into the cinematic side of her legacy, Kymberly is much remembered playing a paranormal figure who shared an intimate scene with Dan Aykroyd In horror movie. While the project was released in 1984, Dan recently looked back at his work with Kymberly.
