They were surprised by their physical condition. He has a shaggy coat that limits his mobility and obscures most of his face, so he can’t see where he’s going and almost gets hit. He was mostly unresponsive and appeared to have been neglected and neglected for most of his life.

The couple was unable to leave him there. As a result, they decided to put him in the car. However, because they were unable to care for him overnight, they put out an appeal on social media and was responded to by groomer Kari Falla.

When a dog’s coat is so frizzy that blood circulation is restricted as well as bruising, it can happen. Kari realized that she couldn’t wait until the next day to help him seeing him in such a bad state. Kari rushed to her BGE Grooming at 3am, almost frozen and terrified. She commented, “Nothing could have prepared me for what I saw.” It smelled horrible, and the dog couldn’t walk.

Kari worked tirelessly until 4 am. He shaved his head, and she guessed he’d had his hair unkempt for more than two years. They decided to call him Lucky while waiting for his vet to come check him out.

The vet’s office was the next big surprise. It appears that Lucky is both blind and deaf, which adds to his shaggy coat and poor condition. If it hadn’t been found by the lovely couple, it would have died on the road before nightfall because of its shaggy coat and terrible form.

After the surgery, the vet spayed Lucky and vaccinated and cleaned his teeth. The search for a permanent home for him began next. Zachary Blair was inspired by Lucky’s story of kindness when everyone came together to help him and he can’t wait to give him a permanent home. We absolutely LOVE happy endings and this is one of them!
