When I switched from a Canon DSLR to Canon EOS R5, one of my biggest considerations revolves around the substantial lens collection I have amassed over the years. Although made for DSLR mounts, many are still of high quality and I wouldn’t want to spend extra money rebuilding my lens collection if that wasn’t the case. Fortunately, Canon mount adapter works perfectly when using my EF mount lenses on an RF mirrorless body and I saved myself the cost of having to start over with a collection of RF mount lenses.
